Shipping & Delivery

If you’ve just placed an order, or you’re about to, and want to know how our UK-wide shipping & delivery works, you’re in the right place.

Below you’ll find everything from production times to delivery options and tracking, so you know exactly what to expect.

Delivery Locations

We currently ship within the UK only. We ship UK-wide, so wherever you are in the UK, we've got you covered.

All orders are made, prepared, and dispatched from our workshop in West Yorkshire.

Order Confirmation & Email Updates

Once you place your order, you’ll receive a receipt and an order confirmation email. Both emails will be sent to the email address you provide when you place your order.

Your order confirmation email will confirm receipt of your order and confirmation of your estimated delivery date. Your estimated delivery date will also be displayed on your receipt.

When your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a dispatch notification email with your parcel delivery details. Tracking will only be provided if purchased at checkout. Standard shipping does not include tracking.

Please make sure to check your inbox (and spam/junk folder) for these emails, as this is how we keep you updated on your order.

Production Times

Each order is prepared individually, and production times vary depending on the product.

You’ll always find the most accurate production time directly on the product page, so please check this before ordering.

If you require an item to be dispatched earlier than the timeframes stated, please contact us before placing your order so we can let you know if we can meet your required timeframes.

As a general guide:
All orders are dispatched within 2 weeks at the latest, unless a bulk order timeframe has been agreed separately.

Please note that if you have requested a design proof for a personalised order, production timeframes begin following your confirmation of the design. If there is a delay confirming your design, production may also be impacted or delayed.

Estimated Delivery & Dispatch Times

Dispatch Times:

Dispatch days: Monday to Friday only. Business/Working days do not include weekends or Bank Holidays

All orders are dispatched 2 working days before your estimated delivery date. You will receive an email notification once your order is dispatched with your shipping carrier and parcel code. Please note that if you wish to have end to end parcel tracking, you must select 'tracked shipping' at the checkout stage.

Estimated Delivery Dates:

All estimated delivery dates are displayed on individual product pages prior to purchase.

Please ensure you aware of the estimated delivery times displayed prior to purchase. Estimated delivery times are also displayed during the checkout stage, on your order receipt, and confirmed with your order confirmation email.

Please be advised that, due to high demand for our products, and the personalised nature of many of our items, we are not generally able to dispatch earlier than the timeframes stated, however, if you do require an item to be dispatched earlier than the timeframes stated, please contact us before placing your order so we can let you know if we can meet your required timeframes. If you do contact us, please check your spam/junk mail folders in case our response has landed there.

Shipping & Delivery Options

All orders are shipped using Royal Mail (unless otherwise agreed).

You can choose from:

Standard Shipping - Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For

  • Delivery confirmation included
  • Signed for upon delivery
  • No full end-to-end tracking

Tracked Shipping - Royal Mail 1st Class Tracked

  • Delivery confirmation included
  • Full tracking from dispatch to delivery
  • Signed for upon delivery

Delivery Times Following Dispatch

Once dispatched, Royal Mail 1st Class typically delivers within 1–2 working days, but this is an estimate, not a guarantee.

Delays can occasionally happen, especially during busy periods, and we are unable to wholly guarantee Royal Mail's delivery times as a 3rd party service. All delivery timeframes provided are estimates only, and we always advise ordering ahead of your required timeframe to mitigate any unforseen delays.

All orders are dispatched 2 working days before your estimated delivery date. You will receive an email notification once your order is dispatched with your shipping carrier and parcel code. Please note that if you wish to have end to end parcel tracking, you must select 'tracked shipping' at the checkout stage.

Delivery Costs

We keep our delivery pricing as simple and cost-effective as possible.

  • Standard UK delivery typically ranges from £1.95 to £10.95 for individual items
  • Costs vary depending on the size, weight, and quantity of your order
  • Final shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout once your address is entered. You can also use our shipping costs calculator in your basket prior to checkout.

Please note: multiple item orders and custom/bulk orders may have different delivery costs.

Tracked delivery costs:

If you would like your order sent via a tracked service:

  • Please select the Tracked Delivery option at checkout
  • Tracked delivery costs are based on current courier pricing. All costs will be calculated and displayed at checkout depending on your order item(s). You can also use our shipping costs calculator in your basket prior to checkout.

Courier Deliveries (Large or Special Orders)

Some larger or specialist items may be sent via courier (such as UPS or DPD).

If this applies to your order, we will contact you to advise and confirm before dispatch.

Tracking Your Order

  • You will receive a dispatch email once your order has been sent
  • If you selected tracked delivery, your tracking details will be included
  • Please note that standard shipping does not include end to end tracking.

Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Please make sure your delivery address is correct and complete at checkout.

Once an order has been dispatched and processed by Royal Mail, we are unable to change the delivery address or recall the parcel.

If an address is incorrect or incomplete, Royal Mail will follow their standard delivery process:

  • If delivery cannot be completed, the parcel will be returned to sender
  • The item is sent to Royal Mail’s returns system and held at their National Returns Centre
  • This process can take up to 3 weeks, followed by a further up to 3 weeks for the item to be returned back to us

We have no control over this process or timeframe once the parcel is with Royal Mail.

Once your order has been returned to us, we can arrange re-delivery to a corrected address.

Please note that additional postage costs will apply for re-shipping.

Refunds & Re-Shipping:

  • Refunds will not be issued for parcels with an incorrect or incomplete address until the item has been returned to us
  • Personalised or made-to-order items are non-refundable if returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address.

If your parcel is returned and you would still like it:

  • We can arrange re-delivery.
  • Additional postage costs will apply

We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage of parcels with an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided.

Missed Deliveries & Uncollected Parcels

All of our parcels are sent using a signed-for delivery service, so someone will need to be available to accept the delivery.

If Royal Mail are unable to deliver your parcel:

  • They will attempt delivery up to 3 times
  • If unsuccessful, a card will be left with instructions

You can then:

  • Arrange a redelivery for a convenient date, or
  • Collect your parcel from your local Royal Mail depot


If you do not arrange Redlivery or Collection for your parcel:

If no redelivery or collection is arranged:

  • Your parcel will be held at your local Royal Mail depot for up to 18 days
  • After this period, the return to sender process will begin

Once this process starts:

  • The parcel is sent through Royal Mail’s returns system
  • It will be held at their National Returns Centre
  • This can take up to 3 weeks, followed by a further up to 3 weeks to be returned to us

We have no control over this process or timeframe once the parcel is with Royal Mail.

Refunds & Re-Shipping:

  • Refunds will not be issued for uncollected parcels until the item has been returned to us
  • Personalised or made-to-order items are non-refundable if returned due to non-collection

If your parcel is returned and you would still like it:

  • We can arrange re-delivery.
  • Additional postage costs will apply

We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage of parcels that have not had re-delivery or collection arranged following missed delivery attempts.

Damaged or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged or hasn’t arrived within a reasonable timeframe, please get in touch via our contact form or by email at enquiries@makememento.com, and we’ll resolve it as quickly as possible for you. If you do contact us, please check your spam/junk mail folders in case our response has landed there.

Rush / Priority Orders

We do try to accommodate rush or express order requests where possible.

However, due to order demand and materials, this is not always guaranteed.

If you need your order sooner than the stated production time, please contact us before placing your order, and we’ll confirm if we can prioritise it. If you do contact us, please check your spam/junk mail folders in case our response has landed there.

Personalised Orders

As many of our items are personalised or made to order:

  • Please double-check all spelling, dates, and details before placing your order
  • We’re unable to accept returns on personalised items unless they arrive faulty

Instant Download Products

If you purchase an instant download product:

  • Your file will be available to download immediately after checkout
  • A download link will also be sent to your email address. This will be the email address you provided to us at checkout.

Please check your email (and spam/junk folder) if you can’t see your download.

We offer Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For and Royal Mail 1st Class Tracked delivery.

Both options require a signature on delivery, but only the tracked option provides full tracking updates.

How do I track my order?

If you selected tracked delivery, your tracking details will be sent in your dispatch email.

If you chose standard delivery, you’ll receive confirmation once your order has been delivered.

I haven’t received any emails about my order - what should I do?

Please check your spam or junk folder first, as emails can sometimes be filtered there.

Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

If you need to update your address, please contact us as soon as possible.

We can only make changes before your order has been dispatched.

What happens if I enter the wrong address?

We’re unable to take responsibility for incorrect or incomplete addresses entered at checkout.

If your order is returned to us, we can arrange redelivery, but additional postage costs may apply.

What should I do if my order hasn’t arrived?

If your order hasn’t arrived within a reasonable timeframe after dispatch, please contact us and we’ll look into it for you.

What if my item arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, please get in touch and we’ll resolve it as quickly as possible.

Do you ship outside the UK?

No - we currently ship within the UK only.

Can I request a faster turnaround?

We do try to accommodate rush orders where possible.

Please contact us before placing your order and we’ll confirm whether we can prioritise it.

Do all items come with tracking?

No - tracking is only included if you select the tracked delivery option at checkout.

How do instant downloads work?

Instant download products are available immediately after checkout.
